《谜一样的清明上河图》:红尘滚滚的作品与作品的红尘滚滚
《清明上河图》的成功,不在于它的绘画水平和艺术风格。在文人画和山水画流行的中国,知识阶层的理想境界是出世的人闲桂花落,夜静春山空。所以,像清明上河图这样事无巨细地描绘人间的场景,是入不了他们的眼的。可是,知识分子都躲到没有人的地方去了,我们没有办法偷窥当时的平民生活,飞鸡斗狗,红尘滚滚。在这一点上,《清明上河图》是时代的录影机、记事本,在一个没有录像照相技术的年代,给我们留下了一幅最生动的画卷。看着这幅画,我们甚至可以走进那个年代,对那里所有的人和事,小到店招陈设、饮食物馔,大到社会关系、阶层地位,人情往来,都可以有最细节的了解。这胜过千言万语、著书立说。 作者野岛刚继续他的讲故事能力,从故宫说到清明上河图,把中国古代社会的文化精华一一起开,说与众人。与故宫的文物颠沛流离一样,这样伟大的艺术品来到人间,也经历了几起几落,五进宫、四出宫,在贪得无厌的权利和民间波谲云诡的斗争中幸免至今。这部作品本身刻画的是红尘,可是作品本身在红尘中的命运,几乎可以讲成与画作同样传奇的故事。如果要拍成电影,估计可以拍成像《指环王》那样的上中下三集,讲述所有拿到《清明上河图》的人,从严嵩到溥仪,都没有好下场的诅咒。可惜中国目前没有好的文人导演,拍个《富春山居图》且能拍成四不像的“国际”大片,又怎能指望有人会讲一幅国宝的颠沛流离。 《谜一样的清明上河图》也对作品的内容进行了详细解释。在五米长的画卷上细细描绘八百多个人物,并把整个画卷设计得如文学作品一般,起承转合,跌宕起伏,这样的伟大作品,竟然是由一个并不出名、甚至没有入选皇家画师名单的画家完成,并基本证明是一人完成,我难以想象,张择端当年是揣度了多大的热情、多坚韧的毅力,花了多少功夫、多少时间才得以完成。这是清明上河图最令人着迷的地方,最为人民记住的不是幽静的高山流水,更不是孔雀起飞时哪只脚先抬起,而是这些最世俗、最本真的笔触,那是我们老祖宗的生活,也是我们自己世世代代的生活。
