我们所在的世界
在西雅图,上班的路上要过两座桥,一个湖,一条高速公路。很奇怪地,在高速公路的路边有一站,孤零零的一个站伫立在疾驶而过的车水马龙中间。每次路过这个站,我都会想起村上春树在《1Q84》中描写的那个高速公路的出口,青豆穿着套装,顺着螺旋楼梯,一层一层地往下走。现存的世界就这样在她的脚步中流逝了;取而代之的是一个新的世界,一个从不存在的历史中创造出来的世界。 《1Q84》真好看。既有现实,又有幻想,还有村上的狡黠。总觉得村上是个智商很高的人,带着居高临下的笔触看这个世界。他书中的人物都是无父无母(或事实上不存在)、单身一人,自己的内心世界与外部几乎是隔绝的。看青豆和天吾两个毫不相干的故事一点一点串接起来,两个人千丝万缕的联系在这个不可能的世界中产生共鸣,并给读者提供智力游戏的机会。 与以前相比,我倒是觉得村上的写作风格不那么天马行空了,更多了流行小说甚至影视文学的感觉。青豆去刺杀领袖一段,几乎可以听到《教父》里艾尔·帕西诺从洗手间走出来的那一段呼啸而过的冲水声,紧张极了。可是天吾的故事也照样紧张,只不过是另一种形式的,爱情与性欲的紧张。青豆与天吾分属《挪威的森林》中绿子与直子的部分,两者的生活和情感有风格上的不同,但又微妙地统一起来。 书还没有看完,不能最后下结论。但每天清晨坐在上班的班车上看一段,西雅图窗外雾蒙蒙的风景与书中的奇妙情节结合起来,是异常和谐的。这书让人惦记着,又不过分狗血让人想要在凌晨四点读完,是很好的消遣读物。每次从书中抬起头来,公车轰轰烈烈进入西雅图downtown交通的地下隧道,我总会想,书中的世界,与书外的世界到底区别何在呢?这是我们所在的世界。这窗外永远阴沉或变幻的天气,一成不变的上班族,如仪式般每日准时说“Good Morning”的司机,是否与1Q84,或者2Q13有某些共同点呢? 也许我永远不知道答案。
