Samsara:轮回与永生
两千多年前的埃及人就已经参透。死亡是每个人的必经之路,死亡是每个人的最后居所。生是暂时的,死是永恒的,死是永生。 两千多年来,追求永生的方式多种多样。埃及人发明了木乃伊,古代人发明了宗教,现代人发明了宗教仪式般的交通、机械化大生产、人类的不同形态和人造人。 从自然到宗教,从宗教到现代生活,Samsara这部没有一句台词、对白或画外音的纪录片呈现了各种追求永生与在地球上永恒存在的镜头。迪拜的通天塔,密宗的坛城,屠宰场里不见血的大开杀戒,快镜头中地铁里不断移动的我们。我们如同地球上的一粒沙子,在精密到类似于仪式式的日常生活中机械运转,匍匐在从曼谷到耶路撒冷,从西藏到欧洲每座城市最高、最宏伟的宗教建筑前面,讲述人类与生俱来的希望。 影片中的各种文化和景象,我去过的、没去过的城市,熟悉的、不熟悉的文化,呈现在镜头前面的形式都很有创意,大部分给人震惊的感觉。比如大漠中的斗转星移,用快镜头的方式呈现日夜变迁;极端对称的山水,奇特的地貌;但更令人震惊的是我们日常生活的社会,在镜头下呈现出宗教的感觉。一班一班的地铁,川流不息的工厂工人,养鸡场屠宰鸡群的机器,还有夜色下,灯火流转的车行道和高楼大厦中明灭的灯光。 人类社会的素材可以如此千变万化,90分钟的电影也不过取沧海之一粟。古往今来,在生死的主题之间,我们创造了多少东西,又有多少是无法改变的?
