《宋家王朝》的女性主义温情
1995年,张婉婷执导的《宋家王朝》甫一出世,诟病颇多。比如张曼玉一点也不像宋庆龄,以及视角过于小家子气,等等。15年后,我仍然喜欢这部电影,不是因为上面所述的诟病,而是作为一个女性导演,张婉婷击中了我作为女性观众的软肋。这不是一部好的历史片,却是一部好的女性主义影片。 当吴兴国扮演的蒋介石面对请愿自焚的学生,眼中噙着泪花;对比之前三十分钟,他念着圣经中“宽恕你的敌人七十个七次”与四一二事变之后的屠杀共产党员镜头的来回切换,张婉婷在这里也许做了一个政治的妥协,以使影片能在两岸三地上映,我却在此看到了浪漫主义的因素,即过分渲染史实,不惜让它染上狗血的色彩。在影片的最后,被雨淋湿的圣经上逐渐显现的句子“革命即是爱情,爱情即是革命”无疑是对这种浪漫的解读,也是对全片的点题:与其说是历史片,不如说是爱情片,或者感情片。张曼玉饰演的宋庆龄对孙中山的一往情深,宋美龄与蒋介石含情脉脉的眼神,都是借革命之名行导演的情感意图;而中秋夜一家子不同政见者的不欢而散,宋耀如专程跑到日本去阻止宋庆龄的婚姻,以及西安事变之后宋霭龄照亮南京机场的汽车头灯,则是把本来或者无聊或者有趣的历史事实放大到可以成为电影情节的戏剧性场景。张婉婷在这里使用了一把双刃剑:一方面让史实论者觉得这部电影的视角出现了偏差,另一方面却充满了浪漫和温情,成为众多女性观众的爱情想象。 这部电影的缺点在于过于不辨史实和虚构,优点却也在于结合了史实和戏剧性的情节。假如不把这部电影当成历史片,那真是一部经典的电影。宋家三姐妹满足了所有情感的想象:宋霭龄的母性,宋庆龄的自由,宋美龄的虚荣,三者结合起来就是所有女性对人生的需求。在虚化的历史背景下,三姐妹的人生如星光一般划过夜空,分外璀璨。世界上有多少女性,能有传奇如她们的一生?与国父的爱情,是在“世间万物皆有时”的庇佑下产生的;兴高采烈地成为中国第一夫人,踏进政治与权力的漩涡中心;当年跳着企鹅舞说着要做“新中国的新女性”的小女孩,在那个不寻常的时代中,走完了她们不寻常的路,其中的纠葛缠绕,为大众所津津乐道的八卦,使电影具有了强烈的可看性。 多年后的今天再看本片,当年人们不习惯接受偶像演名人的不适应已经烟消云散,既然刘烨都可以演毛泽东,那张曼玉的宋庆龄更没有什么关系,更何况张曼玉的演技已经超越了人物的形似。她的气质就是宋庆龄的出淤泥而不染的气质。杨紫琼的宋霭龄,邬君梅已经成为宋美龄专业户,更说明当年选角的成功。配角在电影中,出彩程度甚至超过主角,吴兴国的蒋介石,姜文的宋耀如,就算王学兵演的宋家仆人跑龙套,也是有板有眼。喜多郎作曲的背景音乐是近年来最优秀的电影原声之一,主旋律无疑会成为这个时代电影配乐的经典。
