《一代宗师》:大师的草稿
《一代宗师》讲了什么,全家人周日晚上花了三个小时,谁也没看明白。是讲叶问吧,里面又有那么多宫二一线天;是讲叶问和宫二的关系吧,里面宫二又有好多跟叶问八竿子打不着的情节。但是,大家都深深地被这部电影震惊了,纷纷表示这是大师的电影;所谓大师,基本就是虽然看不懂,没情节,还是觉得很牛逼,很震撼。不知道是因为台词,还是因为手法,还是因为某个不仔细看注意不到的细节。比如章子怡在这部电影中的表演,一颦一笑,一招一式,比玉娇龙都有过之而无不及啊;同样是演小三,同样是演大师的小三,看看章子怡在《梅兰芳》中的表现,还说是唱京剧的名角,基本就是一个怨妇;再看看宫二的表演,就知道什么是好的导演,以及好的导演能提携演员到什么程度了。 要说《一代宗师》,远远不能算成品,顶多算是大师的一个草稿。如果不是制片方急了,这部历时八年的电影的上映还遥遥无期。这导致在电影中呈现出来的许多逻辑混乱,风格不统一,尤其是张震演的一线天,如同一块大石悬在我的头顶,直到影片结束也没落地。宫若梅“一生不嫁”的那句台词出现了起码四遍,豆瓣上有人吐槽说是因为拍了好多条,不知道哪条最合适,于是就都放上了。但即使是草稿,也让人惊艳。到了王家卫这里,就发现好电影不一定要逻辑通顺,风格统一。气氛出来了,故事出来了,大家可以自己拼接逻辑,还觉得是大师跟我们玩儿。比如宫若梅五二年大年夜见叶问,说自己十年前的大年夜在哪里,然后镜头切回十年前,许多人觉得突兀,我却觉得是人生的玩笑,假如时间倒转,宫二是否还会做出这种选择,或者她的人生是否是另一个模样,都没有讲出来,只能让观众自己去猜。 许多影评说宫二是比叶问更有血有肉的形象,这点我同意。可是我觉得王家卫明明对叶问很有想法,可是没有拍出来(完)。叶问在片中一直是很积极的存在,他是个很入世的形象,一开始要出头、好胜,后来为了生存抛弃妻子,最后他在大南茶楼见宫二的那场戏,眼中是很世俗的态度,我爱这世界,我爱这功夫,我要走下去。而宫二是相反的路子;她的人生在她选择替她爹报仇的那一刻就注定是悲剧了,她自己也知道是个悲剧,但从她少年时养成的倔强的性格起头,就知道她的人生注定是这样了。她追求过美好的东西,但爱情在家仇国恨中是不值一提的,她看叶问的眼神是心如枯槁,基本只剩下遗言了。 所以从正常的逻辑角度看来,《一代宗师》要这么拍才能有价值观的输出,如果再给王家卫八年,不知道他会不会把叶问的后半辈子拍完。其实说不定人家已经拍了——我相信他拍的条数与上映时间之比是最高的——把他扔掉的拷贝捡起来再重新剪辑一下,剪个上下两集或者上中下三集,还是很有可能让我们管中窥豹看到一代宗师的哲学的。
